Rooted, steady support for your growing family

Birth & Postpartum Doula serving

Longmont, Boulder, the Colorado Front Range,
Yampa Valley, and Steamboat Springs Area

Hi! I’m Stephanie

A birth and postpartum doula, birth educator, placenta encapsulation specialist based in the Front Range of Colorado.

My work is rooted in steady presence, clear guidance, and protecting your space so you can move through pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum feeling supported and confident in your decisions. My North Star is building resilient, strong families, and your birth experience is the beginning, where new strength is gathered, protected, and grown with care.

Birth & Postpartum Doula Support

At Mountain Lion Birth Services, I offer steady, protective support through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. You deserve to feel safe, informed, and fully supported as you move through this transition. My role is to stay grounded alongside you, helping you navigate decisions with clarity while holding strong, steady space for your experience.

My birth support package includes two prenatal visits where we prepare for labor, talk through your preferences, and build a plan that feels right in your body and your life. I am on call starting at 37 weeks and join you in labor to provide continuous, calm support, staying with you through birth and for about two hours after as you settle in with your baby. You will also have one postpartum visit to check in, process your experience, and receive continued care.

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is a time-honored practice that many families choose to support their postpartum recovery. Using a careful, sanitary process, I prepare your placenta into easy-to-take capsules. Many parents report benefits such as increased energy and improved mood.

In addition to encapsulation, I offer placenta tinctures, beautiful colored prints, cord keepsakes, and the option to reserve pieces for ceremonial burial or personal use.

Inquire to learn more about these offerings and how they can be tailored to your preferences.

Overnight Newborn Care

My overnight infant care offers watchful, protective support so you can rest deeply while your baby is held with steady, attentive care. During the night, I remain a calm, grounded presence in your home, tending to feeding, soothing, and your baby’s needs as they arise while keeping the space quiet and settled.

During these overnight visits, I also offer guidance and support around newborn care and infant feeding so you can feel more confident and informed as you learn your baby’s rhythms.

My approach is responsive and intuitive, always guided by your preferences and your baby’s cues. You can rest knowing someone is aware and caring for your baby with the same steady attention you would give.

Childbirth Education

I offer an in-person, full-day childbirth education class created to help families feel prepared, grounded, and supported as they approach birth. We’ll walk together through the stages of labor, what’s happening in the body during birth, practical comfort measures, and ways to prepare for the postpartum transition.

Held in the cozy and welcoming clinic space at Community Roots Midwife Collective in Longmont, this small-group class offers a relaxed setting where you can learn, ask questions, and build confidence for the journey ahead.

NEXT CLASS is Saturday, May 30th 9am - 4pm
