Hi! I’m Stephanie Minnaert
My philosophy of birth is rooted in supporting families through conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as a form of empowerment and initiation. I believe every family deserves support that honors their choices and protects their space. Like the mountain lion, steady, watchful, and intuitive, I walk beside you with a calm, nurturing presence, offering care that is both grounded and deeply attuned.
My passage into birthwork began at the point of conception with my first child in 2018. This experience awakened me to the calling of community care, midwifery, and birth as a launch point for building resilient families. I bring both skill and intuition to my work, with a strong sense of advocacy and an innate ability to attune to each family’s unique needs.
My role is to hold steady space, offer tools and information you can rely on, and support you in feeling empowered to care for your family for the long haul.
What guides my work
• Your choices, always
• Steady and grounded care
• Practical, validated support
• Respect for your story and identity
• Inclusive care for all families
I am committed to inclusive, respectful care and love working with a wide range of families and identities across home, birth center, and hospital settings.
I live in Longmont, Colorado with my two kids and two kitties. In my free time, I’m often running up a mountain, playing in the dirt, or studying astrology. I also work in the nonprofit space and have done so for over 15 years, including my role with Community Roots Midwife Collective.
Service Area
I support families across the Colorado Front Range, including Longmont, Boulder, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Broomfield, Westminster, Loveland, Fort Collins, Denver, Nederland, Black Hawk, and Estes Park. I also offer limited availability for birth and postpartum support in the Yampa Valley, Routt County, and Steamboat Springs area.
